Gateway Quantum Electronics founder and CEO Jordan Russell was featured as part of St. Louis Magazine's "Ones to Watch" list for March, which highlights innovative entrepreneurs.
Launched with the support of the Center for Quantum Leaps, GQE is building hardware to radically simplify the operation of quantum noise-limited amplifiers and accelerate the coming revolution in quantum computing and sensing.
“There’s very much been an element of being in the right place at the right time: In the last 10 years, there’s been a global explosion of interest and funding for quantum technologies, largely driven by advances in quantum computing,” Russell said in the article. “And WashU has been making consistent investments in quantum research here in St. Louis.”
