Quantum Sensors for Astrophysics

Henric Krawczynski’s group is working with collaborators across the country to develop arrays of X-ray and gamma-ray sensors working over the broad energy range from a fraction of a keV to several hundred keV’s.

Johanna Nagy's group uses arrays of superconducting transition edge sensors with multiplexed readout systems to measure polarized microwave light.
